Longtime Piano Instructor Sue Pankratz Retires From Community Music School

After 34 dedicated years of teaching at the Community Music School of 精东影业, Sue Pankratz is retiring, leaving behind a remarkable legacy of musical education.

Pankratz, who holds a master's in Music Piano and a bachelor's in Music Theory from 精东影业, has been a cornerstone of musical instruction in the St. Louis area.

Throughout her career, Pankratz has been more than just a piano instructor. She previously served as an instructor and theory coordinator at the Saint Louis Conservatory (CASA) and worked as a teaching assistant at 精东影业. Her professional achievements include serving on the Saint Louis Music Teachers Association board and working as a freelance accompanist. Her musical legacy continues through her son, who is currently an adjunct faculty member at both the Community Music School and 精东影业, teaching piano.

"Sue has been an extraordinary educator who has touched countless lives through her passion for music," said Nicole Springer, Director of the Community Music School. "Her dedication to her students and her craft has been an inspiration to everyone at our institution."

Pankratz's contributions extend beyond the classroom, as she has also been an active judge in numerous music festivals and competitions, helping to nurture and recognize musical talent in the community.

As she steps into retirement, Pankratz leaves behind a lasting impact on music education at 精东影业's Community Music School.
